What is TCEvaluator?

TCEvaluator helps colleges and universities evaluate transfer credit in minutes instead of weeks. Your team (or the student themselves) uploads a transcript, the platform reads it, matches the student’s prior coursework against your degree programs, and your evaluators review and confirm the results — producing a polished PDF summary and a branded results page you can send to the student.

  • Admissions and enrollment teams who want to show prospective students an estimated transfer credit award early — before the student commits.
  • Registrars and evaluators who need a consistent, auditable workflow for official transfer credit review.
  • Marketing teams who want a transcript-upload form on the institution’s website that turns visitors into leads with a personalized credit estimate.
  1. Upload. A transcript (PDF, JPG, or PNG) is uploaded — by your staff in the portal, or by a student through a direct link or your website form. Every file is virus-scanned on upload.
  2. Read. The platform extracts the student’s courses, credits, and grades from the document, and identifies the institutions the student attended.
  3. Match. The AI compares each transcript course against the courses in the student’s chosen program and suggests matches, with evidence for each suggestion.
  4. Review. An evaluator opens the evaluation, checks the AI suggestions, adds or removes matches manually, and applies policy overrides where justified. See Reviewing results.
  5. Confirm & deliver. The evaluator confirms each match, finishes the evaluation, and downloads or emails the PDF summary. See Confirming results.
