Blocked Institutions

Some institutions’ coursework isn’t accepted by your programs — unaccredited providers, or schools outside your articulation scope. The Blocked Institutions page (Institution › Blocked Institutions, Manager role and above) lets you enforce that automatically.

How it works

When a transcript is processed, TCEvaluator identifies the prior institutions the student attended. If an institution is on your block list, its coursework is excluded from transfer for your evaluations.

Managing the list

Section titled “Managing the list”
  • Search for an institution by name.
  • Block an institution to stop accepting its coursework from now on.
  • Unblock it to start accepting it again.

Changes apply to evaluations processed after the change — existing evaluations keep their results.
